'Reed', Hand dyed Jacob, Aran weight 100% wool

Naturally dyed with wild Orkney plants. Hand collected and processed using heritage techniques, this is an Alder dye, which is a rich dark yellow shade, showing some natural variegation throughout the wool. The colour has been darkened using iron solution.

I have attempted to capture the colour accurately although colour may vary on screens.

A versatile, hard wearing 100% wool, ideal for outdoor garments.

Due to the properties of the dye some fading may occur although every effort is made to ensure colour fastness

Items should be washed on a cool hand wash only, some bleeding may occur in the first wash. Some plant material may remain in the wool.
