'Light Sands', Hand dyed, Lonk, 100g 4 ply, 100% pure wool.

Naturally dyed with wild Orkney plants. Hand collected and processed using heritage techniques, this is an Alder dye, which is a rich yellow shade, showing some natural variegation throughout the wool.

I have attempted to capture the colour accurately although colour may vary on screens.

A versatile, hardy 100% wool, ideal for sock making

Due to the properties of the dye the light fastness of the colour should be considered.

Items should be washed on a cool hand wash only, some bleeding may occur in the first wash. Some plant material may remain in the wool.
