'Heather mist' (light) Hand dyed Shetland, 100g Aran weight, pure wool.

Naturally dyed with wild Orkney plants. Hand collected and processed, this is a pure Elderberry dye, which is a pale purple shade, showing some natural variegation throughout the wool.

I have attempted to capture the colour accurately although colour may vary on screens.

A versatile, hard wearing 100% wool, ideal for outdoor garments.

Due to the properties of the dye the light fastness of the colour should be considered. This dye is best suited to projects which are not frequently washed or exposed to light.

Items should be washed on a cool hand wash only, some bleeding may occur in the first wash. Some plant material may remain in the wool.
