Naturally dyed with wild Orkney plants. Hand collected and processed using heritage techniques, this is a kitchen garden dye which is a earthy pink with darker purple shade, showing some natural variegation throughout the wool.
Soya mordant is used.
I have attempted to capture the colour accurately although colour may vary on screens.
A versatile, hard wearing 100% wool, ideal for outdoor garments.
Items should be washed on a cool hand wash only, some bleeding may occur in the first wash. Some plant material may remain in the wool.
