Bay, 4 ply, 50g, 40% BLUE FACED LEICESTER WOOL / 40% SHETLAND WOOL / 20% TUSSAH SILK

Naturally dyed in Orkney using plant dyes.

Hand collected and processed using heritage techniques. Croft garden collection using the herb bay. Natural variegation occurs.

Please be aware this wool has been mordanted with alum, although all wool has been washed please consider if allergic.

I have attempted to capture the colour accurately although colour may vary on screens.

Due to the properties of the dye the colourfastness should be considered.

Items should be washed on a cool hand wash only, some bleeding may occur in the first wash. Some plant material may remain in the wool.
